8 16 hours ago Full Job Description Job Description (RESUME REQUIRED) The Major of Quality Control is assigned to the Office of the Chief of Police.
He/she is charged with the efficient and effective management of personnel and resources under his/her command to achieve the objectives of the department.
The ultimate goal is to foster more efficient police services and enhance police and community relationships.
The delegation of managerial and operational tasks creates a need for top-level management personnel.
The Major of Quality Control shall ensure efficient and effective investigations and other situations of public concern are conducted and followed up on in a timely fashion.
Given this, specific managerial oversight in the various aspects of quality assurance and accreditation compliance must be systematically monitored and evaluated.
He/she is focused on effective quality control and accreditation compliance and responsible for providing competent leadership to those under his/her command.
He/she shall abide by the principles of management and shall manage by objectives designed to meet departmental goals.
The Major of Quality Assurance will be under the direct supervision of and directly accountable to the Chief of Police or designee.
