Fort Pierce, FL Fort Pierce, FL Full-time Full-time From $60,000 a year From $60,000 a year 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago The EHS Coordinator is responsible for managing and providing Corporate Safety, Environmental support to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
Work with all levels of the organizations to identify, reduce and eliminate exposures to create a safe and compliant work environment.
You will train, coach, build capability for local operational and EHS teams on EHS excellence, and drive the integration of employee empowerment, involvement, to eliminate operational losses.
Responsibilities:
Act as the technical expert for safety, health and ergonomics issues.
Works as a Subject Matter Expert to develop and implement EHS Standards and programs to ensure compliance with safety and health requirements in accordance with federal/state/local regulatory and Company requirements.
(State of Florida, OSHA & EPA standards).
Manages corporate projects to ensure interaction with facility management team, team leaders, and facility employees in order to increase awareness and education levels regarding safe and compliant work.
Analyzes incident data to identify trends and losses that can be prevented and eliminated.
Perform job site analysis to determine employee and property exposures, and institute safe work practices.
Oversees EHS standards and activities including training, collection and records maintenance and for conservation programs within the organization.
Ensure compliance to safety and environmental regulatory requirements as they relate to:
permitting, program review, training, inspections, incident management and follow-up, workers' compensation oversight, record keeping and documentation control.
Perform plant safety audits and inspections of personnel to assure compliance with program requirements.
Administer monthly group meetings and other specialized meetings as need dictates.
Facilitate H&S drills including Fire & Evacuation Drills, Weather Drills, Hazmat Drills, LEPC & Fire Department Drills.
Provide incident and near miss support including patient care and follow-up actions, investigation, tracking and trending details for EH&S events.
Review all capital expenditure requests to assure safety and environmental concerns are addressed.
Provide in-field Environmental Health & Safety support for employees and provide hazard awareness directly to site employees.
Implement and manage Safety Program.
Incident Reporting and Management.
Able to work to action plan based on AOP goals and EHS Metrics.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA, hazard communications, accident investigation and safety training methods).
Organized, analytical, detail-oriented, project management skills and strong focus on results.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a global team environment.

S.
degree in safety management, environmental health, or related field.
Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Engineering, Business Administration or Physical Sciences; or an equivalent combination of related experience and education.
OSHA Training Courses.
Program, planning and evaluation techniques.
Above average oral and written communication skills as this role must be able to effectively communicate to, lead and engage employees at all levels of the organization.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus - but not required for this position.
A thorough understanding of lean manufacturing principles and leadership applications is a plus - but not required for this position; training will be given.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
