Actively engage with patients in person, over the phone, and through email/text messaging.
Accurately enter patient demographic, billing, and medical information.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and enjoy interacting with senior-aged patients.
Job Skills:
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure alongside a team.
Strong communication skills with friendly telephone manner.
Ability to positively interact with seniors.
Computer knowledge, typing skills, and EHR experience.
Be trustworthy, punctual and presentable.
Bilingual a plus! (Spanish and / or Creole).
Job Duties:
Greet patients and efficiently enter demographic data into EHR.
Confirm and schedule appointments.
Accurately update information in patient medical record.
Review status of patient accounts; identify and solve issues in a timely manner.
Collect patient co-pays and payment balances.
Review patient financial responsibilities and offer payment plan agreement when necessary.
Ensure patient forms are accurately completed, signed and entered into EHR.
Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and privacy policies.
