68 / hr Position Overview:
Under the general direction of an administrator, this position is responsible for performing a variety of responsibilities of tasks and responsibilities involved in enrolling and transferring students; creating and maintaining student records; providing student records and related duties.
Role and Responsibilities Enrolls, transfers and withdraws students in the school board automated student information system Assesses student eligibility/qualifications for intake and progression Assists with the transitional paperwork per JJEEP requirements Maintains folders Accesses information in ETO as necessary to complete registrar tasks Assists in the review and evaluation of transcripts to determine allowable credits Enters and maintains transcript and credit information in student files Confers with referring districts and communicates with staff concerning potential behavior issues and/or gang affiliations Communicates to staff the school expectations, rules and consequences of actions for inappropriate behavior Enters and maintains immunization and attendance information and grade reports into automated student information system Reviews student records to ensure current information, accuracy and completeness with State regulations and county office policies and guidelines Prepares records/paperwork for re-admission to former district Utilizes a computer database system for preparation of schedules, documents, and record keeping Maintains professional rapport and communicates effectively in writing and in person with students, parents, staff, and district personnel Demonstrates sensitivity to needs of students, staff and parents Maintains confidentiality of information regarding students Models appropriate behavior for students Attends school district trainings as required Maintains survey data that generates FTE Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Required High School Diploma Training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.
Knowledge of standard clerical procedures, English grammar, punctuation, and spelling Automated record management Computer database use and basis research techniques; customer service skills and proper telephone etiquette Demonstrates highest level of ethics and confidentiality Other Requirements Must adhere to Agency Values and Principles.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
