Reports to the Production Manager.

Mechanically minded and a job history which includes hands on maintenance and technical job skills and/or training. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic and hydraulic experience helpful.

Responsibilities
Operate a safe and efficient Maintenance/Set up Department. This includes but is not limited to the production processes, the facilities and grounds maintenance, installation of equipment, trouble shooting, improve safety and efficiency, monitoring parts and supplies usage and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance program.
Direct the work of the personnel. This includes prioritizing breakdowns (based on write-ups), machine set up/changeover (based on the production schedule), preventive maintenance (based on PM log and changeovers) and projects - as planned. This also includes the daily work of the Manufacturing Purchasing Agent.
Determine the need for and contacting of contractors. Review all quotes.
Must oversee the parts and supply needs of production and maintenance/set up.
Assist in developing and implementing an inventory control/tracking system.
Participate in the planning and development stage of the purchase of new and/or additional equipment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
