We currently have a great opportunity for a Industrial Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the inspection, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhaul of mechanical systems used in the production at Silver-Line Plastics.
This role is based in our Fort Pierce, FL plant.
Principal Responsibilities Safety:
maintain a safe work environment through training, adherence to policies and housekeeping.
Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at a high quality.
Resolve motor, pump, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
Show expertise in working with a team and independently.
Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards and schedule.
Use various hand tools and power tools daily.
Handle simple and complex heavy industrial equipment like saws, pullers and bellers.
Comply with company and customer regulations and policies.
Handle personal tools for the job.
Able to be productive and get the job done with little supervision.
Minimum 18 years of age Perform other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school education, or equivalency is desired Knowledge and experience in maintenance At least 1 year in maintenance preferred Verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Teamworking skills Ability to work independently Organizational Skills Multitasking skills Benefits Weekly Pay Affordable Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401K Company match up to 5% PTO Bonus Opportunity.
